Perodua Myvi SE 2nd Gen (M600, Lagi Best) Pioneer AVH-A5150BT JBL Stage 3 Speakers and Infinity Basslink SM Active Subwoofer

 

The young lady who owns this Perodua Myvi is so lucky to have a cool dad who arranged for the audio upgrade. Top on his list was making sure the sound would be improved a lot from the factory system. First on the list was to replace the factory head unit with the Pioneer AVH-A5150BT. There is no doubt on the quality of the audio output from a Pioneer. Next up was to make sure some decent performing speakers to match up to the head unit. He did not want to go the amplifier route, so the JBL Stage 3 was a perfect choice for the Myvi. Finally, to add rumble to the low-end frequencies, our favourite active subwoofer, the Infinity Basslink SM was chosen.

 

All in all, this was a rather straightforward install. If you are looking to improve the sound in your Myvi, following what was done to this Myvi is not a bad idea at all.
